Jon Favreau commissioned drew to do this painting as part of a stroke of genius. The printed poster was released and given away at the Comic Convention in San Diego, CA. As part of this promotion Jon premiered the movie at the Con as well. Never before had a major Hollywood motion picture, along with it's poster, been premiered for the Fans before it had gone to Hollywood or to theaters.

Only 500 posters were created and all were given away at the Con except for a few that drew retained. Highly collectable the poster is hand numbered and hand signed by both the director, Jon Favreau and the artist, drew Struzan.
